Affidavit
An affidavit is a sworn statement signed before a notary public. It carries legal weight because the person signing it declares the facts under oath. False statements in an affidavit are punishable by law. The most common affidavits we handle are name change declarations (when the passport name differs from educational records), single status affidavits for marriage abroad, income declarations for visa applications, and general purpose sworn statements for court or immigration files. The wording matters. A poorly drafted affidavit can be rejected by the receiving authority. We prepare the text based on the facts you provide, print it on the correct stamp paper, and arrange the notary seal. You sign it before the notary. If the affidavit is for use outside Pakistan, it needs MOFA attestation after notarisation. For non-Hague countries, an embassy stamp follows MOFA. For Hague countries, MOFA issues an apostille instead. We handle the full sequence.
MOFA Attestation
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is the second stamp on any Pakistani document heading overseas. After the issuing body confirms the document (HEC for degrees, IBCC for school certificates, NADRA for personal documents), MOFA adds its own stamp that confirms the prior verification. MOFA runs two routes. The traditional attestation feeds into the embassy step for non-Hague countries like Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman. The apostille route is a single stamp valid in all Hague Convention member states, including the UK, Germany, Australia, Turkey, and others. Pakistan acceded to the Hague Convention, and the apostille route entered into force on 9 January 2024. MOFA operates from offices in Islamabad and Lahore. The Islamabad office handles the bulk of the volume. We file on your behalf at whichever office is faster for your case. Processing takes 2 to 3 working days for personal and educational documents, and 3 to 5 working days for legal and commercial documents. Express service can finish in about a day for eligible files.
Saudi Embassy Attestation
Saudi Arabia does not accept the Hague apostille. Every Pakistani degree, NADRA certificate, or legal document needs three stamps before it works there. HEC or NADRA verifies the document first, then MOFA attests it, and finally the Saudi Embassy in the Diplomatic Enclave adds the embassy stamp. The Saudi Embassy processes documents in batches. Submission windows and processing schedules can shift without notice, which is why having someone at the counter regularly matters. Our team visits the embassy most working days and knows the current acceptance window. For medical professionals, engineers, and teachers, some Saudi employers also need Mosadaqa verification from the Saudi Cultural Mission. That is a separate process that can add 3 to 5 weeks. We confirm with your employer whether Mosadaqa is needed before starting, so you do not pay for a step you may not need. Family visa files for Saudi usually need a NADRA marriage certificate, birth certificates for dependents, and sometimes a family registration certificate. All of these follow the same NADRA, MOFA, Saudi Embassy sequence.

Saudi Arabia attestation from Pakistan starts with the document authority. Every Pakistani document bound for Saudi Arabia must pass through HEC, then MOFA, then the Saudi Embassy stamp before a Riyadh employer, university or kafala sponsor will accept it. Most professional work visas add a fourth step, the Saudi Cultural Mission verification known as Mosadaqa, which PMDC doctors and PEC engineers hit almost every time and which stretches the file from four weeks to ten. Degrees run HEC, MOFA, Embassy. Family papers such as marriage and birth certificates instead start at NADRA. The basic sequence without Mosadaqa turns around fastest, and the employer letter is what decides whether Mosadaqa is even required.
