Why the B-Form is the first document a child needs
The B-Form, or Child Registration Certificate, is the first identity a Pakistani child receives. It links the minor to both parents through NADRA from birth. Parents need it for school admission, a child passport, and proof of parentage in family visa files.
It is issued only to minors under 18 and converts to a CNIC once the child turns 18. The filing needs the child birth record and the CNIC copies of both parents.
For overseas use, the B-Form can move through MOFA attestation and then the embassy stamp. This is common when the child is part of a family visa application or when parentage proof is needed abroad.
We collect the documents from your address, file at NADRA, and return the certificate to your door.

What is the difference between a B-Form and a birth certificate?
Can the B-Form be attested for a visa file?
How long does the B-Form take?
What if the parents are not married in the NADRA system?
Documents often needed with a B-Form
School and passport files usually ask for a birth certificate too. Family visa files often need an FRC.
Birth Certificate (NADRA)
NADRA issues a computerised birth certificate from its central database. The certificate carries a unique registration number that government offices and embassies can verify online. It is different from the old handwritten birth record issued by union councils. You need this certificate for child passport applications, school admissions, dependent visa files, and family sponsorship cases. Gulf embassies and Western immigration offices all ask for the NADRA version, not the union council one. For hospital births, the process is straightforward. We collect the hospital birth record and the parents CNIC copies. NADRA matches the data and issues the certificate within a couple of days. For home births or cases where no hospital record exists, an affidavit and witness statements are needed. We can guide you on what the affidavit should contain and which documents support the registration.
Family Registration Certificate (FRC)
A Family Registration Certificate is the NADRA document that lists everyone in your household and how each person relates to the head of the family. Immigration officers use it to support spouse and dependent visa claims because it shows the family unit in a single record. NADRA builds the FRC from the CNIC and B-Form links already in its system. The consolidated view often supports a dependent visa to Canada, the UK, or the Gulf. You need an FRC for spouse visa applications, dependent visa files, family sponsorship cases, and some immigration forms that ask for proof of household composition. After NADRA issues it, the certificate usually moves through MOFA attestation and then the embassy stamp for use abroad. We collect the head of family CNIC and the CNIC or B-Form copies of each member, file the application at NADRA, and return the certificate to your address.
MOFA Attestation
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is the second stamp on any Pakistani document heading overseas. After the issuing body confirms the document (HEC for degrees, IBCC for school certificates, NADRA for personal documents), MOFA adds its own stamp that confirms the prior verification. MOFA runs two routes. The traditional attestation feeds into the embassy step for non-Hague countries like Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman. The apostille route is a single stamp valid in all Hague Convention member states, including the UK, Germany, Australia, Turkey, and others. Pakistan acceded to the Hague Convention, and the apostille route entered into force on 9 January 2024. MOFA operates from offices in Islamabad and Lahore. The Islamabad office handles the bulk of the volume. We file on your behalf at whichever office is faster for your case. Processing takes 2 to 3 working days for personal and educational documents, and 3 to 5 working days for legal and commercial documents. Express service can finish in about a day for eligible files.
Countries that need this certificate
Your B-Form / Child Registration Certificate follows a specific sequence based on the destination. Pick a country to see what is required.
Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia attestation from Pakistan starts with the document authority. Every Pakistani document bound for Saudi Arabia must pass through HEC, then MOFA, then the Saudi Embassy stamp before a Riyadh employer, university or kafala sponsor will accept it. Most professional work visas add a fourth step, the Saudi Cultural Mission verification known as Mosadaqa, which PMDC doctors and PEC engineers hit almost every time and which stretches the file from four weeks to ten. Degrees run HEC, MOFA, Embassy. Family papers such as marriage and birth certificates instead start at NADRA. The basic sequence without Mosadaqa turns around fastest, and the employer letter is what decides whether Mosadaqa is even required.

Timeline & Fees
2 to 10 weeks depending on whether Mosadaqa is required
Service fee from Rs. 4,500. Embassy fee Rs. 2,300 per document. Mosadaqa adds Rs. 70,000 to 85,000 when required.
Common Questions
Is Mosadaqa always required for Saudi Arabia?
No. It is usually asked for medical, engineering, and teaching roles, but the final requirement comes from your employer or sponsor. We confirm with them before starting so you do not pay for a step you may not need.
Can family visas skip HEC attestation?
Yes. Family documents such as marriage and birth certificates start with NADRA verification, then MOFA, then the Saudi Embassy. HEC only handles university degrees.
How long does the Saudi Embassy take after MOFA?
Most files return within 5 to 7 working days unless the embassy asks for additional documents. The full sequence from HEC through to the Saudi Embassy usually takes 2 to 3 weeks without Mosadaqa.
Can I get Saudi attestation without visiting Islamabad?
Yes. We collect your documents from any city in Pakistan, handle HEC, MOFA and the Saudi Embassy in Islamabad, and return them to your door with tracking and insurance.
What is the Saudi Culture online portal fee?
The total cost for Saudi Cultural Mission verification (Mosadaqa) is approximately Rs. 70,000 to 85,000, including portal fees and service charges. The exact fee depends on your qualification and employer category.
UAE
The UAE accepts Pakistani documents only after they carry MOFA and UAE Embassy stamps. A degree for a Dubai employment visa runs HEC, MOFA, and the UAE Embassy. A NADRA marriage certificate for family sponsorship in Abu Dhabi runs NADRA, MOFA, and the UAE Embassy. Each emirate may have its own typing centre or visa channel, but the attestation sequence is the same. We lodge the file and track it so the document is ready before your visa appointment.

Common Questions
Does each emirate need a different stamp?
No. The UAE Embassy in Islamabad handles attestation for all emirates, including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and Ajman. The stamp is valid across the UAE.
Can I use an apostille for the UAE?
No. The UAE is not a Hague Apostille member, so embassy attestation is required after MOFA. There is no apostille route for UAE bound documents.
How much does UAE embassy attestation cost from Pakistan?
The UAE Embassy attestation fee is approximately Rs. 32,000 to 33,000 per document, processed through VFS Global. Our service fee starts from Rs. 4,500 and covers pickup, filing, and insured return delivery.
Do I need GDRFA approval alongside attestation?
GDRFA (General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs) approval is a separate process from attestation. Some UAE visa types require GDRFA approval before your employer can apply for the visa, but the document attestation sequence is the same regardless.
Qatar
Qatar asks for clean, undamaged originals. A torn corner or stain at the Qatar Embassy counter can get the file rejected, so we inspect every document before submission. The standard sequence is HEC or NADRA, then MOFA, then the Qatar Embassy. Once attested, the document is usually taken to Qatar and submitted to the Ministry of Interior or sponsor along with the visa application.

Common Questions
Does Qatar accept damaged documents?

Is MOFA always required before Qatar Embassy?
Yes. The Qatar Embassy requires the MOFA Stamp as a prerequisite for most documents.
How much does Qatar embassy attestation cost?
Qatar Embassy attestation fees are approximately Rs. 22,500 per degree and Rs. 22,500 per transcript. Our service fee starts from Rs. 4,500 and covers pickup, filing, and insured return delivery.
Kuwait
Kuwait splits attestation into two tracks. Track one is the standard HEC, MOFA, and Kuwait Embassy stamp used for most employment and family visas. Track two adds the Kuwait Cultural Office degree verification, which hospitals and some government employers ask for after the embassy step. We confirm the exact requirement with your sponsor before filing, so the document does not bounce between offices.

Common Questions
Who needs Cultural Office verification?
It is often requested for hospital, university, and government roles, but your sponsor will confirm if it is required. We check with them before filing so you do not pay for a step you may not need.
Can family documents skip HEC?
Yes. Marriage and birth certificates start with NADRA instead of HEC. The sequence is NADRA, MOFA, Kuwait Embassy.
How long does the Kuwait Embassy take?
The embassy step takes 5 to 7 working days after MOFA. If the Cultural Office step is required, add another 2 to 3 weeks.
Bahrain
Bahrain accepts Pakistani documents after HEC or NADRA and MOFA verification, followed by the Bahrain Embassy stamp. The embassy has specific submission windows, so timing matters more than for some other Gulf missions. Once stamped, the document can be used for a Bahrain work permit, family visa, or company registration.

Common Questions
Does Bahrain require an apostille?
No. Bahrain requires MOFA and embassy attestation, not an apostille. Bahrain is not a Hague Convention member for this purpose.
How long does the Bahrain Embassy take?
Most files are returned within 5 to 7 working days after MOFA. The embassy submission window can affect the timeline if we miss it for the week.
Is cultural verification required for Bahrain?
Usually not. Bahrain keeps the sequence simpler than Saudi Arabia or Kuwait. The standard HEC or NADRA, MOFA, Embassy sequence is enough for most files.
Oman
Oman requires MOFA attestation followed by the Oman Embassy stamp before a Pakistani degree or certificate is accepted for a visa or labour card. The embassy receives documents on specific days, so we plan the submission to fit the current schedule. Family documents follow the NADRA, MOFA, Embassy sequence.

Common Questions
Is Oman a Hague Apostille country?
No. Oman is not a Hague Convention member for document legalisation. Pakistani documents for Oman still need traditional MOFA attestation followed by the embassy stamp.
What if my sponsor asks for additional verification?
Some Oman employers ask for a ministry level check after embassy attestation. We handle that when the sponsor provides the request.
How long does the Oman Embassy take?
Most files are returned within 5 to 7 working days after MOFA, depending on the current receiving window.
United Kingdom
The United Kingdom is a Hague Apostille Convention member, so Pakistani documents for the UK usually receive an apostille from MOFA after HEC or NADRA verification. Some UK employers and universities still ask for embassy legalization, but the apostille is the standard route. We verify the destination requirement before filing.

Timeline & Fees
2 to 3 working days after HEC or NADRA
Service fee from Rs. 3,000. MOFA apostille fee applies.
Common Questions
Does the UK Embassy in Islamabad attest documents?
Usually not. The UK accepts the MOFA apostille for most Pakistani documents. We only pursue embassy legalization if a specific UK office asks for it, which is rare.
Can I use a Pakistani apostille for a UK student visa?
Yes, the apostille is normally accepted by UK universities and the Home Office for documents originating in Pakistan.
Do UK employers ask for a certified translation?
Sometimes, if the document is in Urdu. Degrees are usually in English so translations are rarely needed. NADRA certificates sometimes need a certified English translation.
Canada
Canada immigration cases usually begin with the degree and transcript, not a Canadian Embassy stamp. For Canada attestation from Pakistan, the route depends on the receiving body. Canada accepts Pakistani degrees through designated Educational Credential Assessment bodies. Depending on the assessor and institution, documents may need HEC verification or direct university submission. We check the assessor instructions, handle the required Pakistan-side steps, and send the package under your reference number.

Timeline & Fees
7 to 10 working days for HEC and shipping. ECA evaluation is separate and runs 4 to 12 weeks depending on the body.
Service fee from Rs. 8,000. ECA body fee varies (WES approximately Rs. 62,000, IQAS and ICAS approximately Rs. 56,000).
Common Questions
Do I need the Canadian Embassy stamp?
For immigration, an ECA from WES, IQAS, or ICAS is usually required instead of an embassy stamp. Canada accepts the ECA report as the credential verification for Express Entry and Provincial Nominee Programs.
Which ECA body is fastest?
WES is generally the fastest, typically 4 to 8 weeks. IQAS runs 8 to 12 weeks and ICAS runs 10 to 12 weeks. The best choice depends on your institution and immigration stream.
Why does the process start with HEC and not the ECA directly?
The required document route depends on the assessor and your institution. Some files use HEC verification, while others require direct university submission. We check the instructions first, then prepare and send the documents under your reference number.
